On July 27th 2018 at the Serena in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, the Centre of Excellence for ICT in East Africa (CENIT@EA) at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) and the East African Business Council (EABC), with the support of GIZ, organized an Informative Business Lunch under the theme ‘The Importance of Embedded and Mobile Systems for Industries in East Africa’’.
The event was aimed at executive managers in the Tanzanian private sector , whose companies are active in production, services or telecommunications, as well as representatives of national associations in these sectors. The goals of the event were to gain an up-to-date understanding in this field of ICT, to initiate an exchange about possibilities of practical cooperation between private sector, associations and CENIT@EA, as well to inform about the new centre of excellence which will offer a postgraduate program and professional trainings in the field of mobile and embedded systems.
